May 2016 Newsletter

 Dear Friends,

It is hard to believe spring is here already.  It is harder to believe that Sew Many Blessings will celebrate our tenth Anniversary in July.  Things have sure changed from our opening day in 2006.  We were excited to have 500 bolts to start with and now we have almost 2,000,  almost tripled our space and now carry Baby Lock Sewing Machines.  We have made a lot of new friends and hope to make even more.

We have a full schedule of classes and events in the next four months.  We are excited about our new classes.  Sandy will be teaching the new Fold-n-Stitch wreaths.  They are one of the best selling patterns in the US right now.  JoAnn will be teaching a Tuffet Class.  This is a great additional to any quilters home and would make a great gift.  We also have the Salem’s Witches Quilt Guild Class, and a beginning Bargello class,  just to mention a few of our new classes.

The West Virginia Mountain Quilt Quest Shop Hop is July 20th thru 23rd.  You will not want to miss this year’s special fabric.  The theme is WV Wildflowers and the fabric was designed by WV Artist Dorothy Post Swick.  It is beautiful.

And of Course the Row by Row starts June 20th.  The theme this year is Home Sweet Home.  We already have the official fabric in and it is adorable.

Take time to Sew,    Heidi and Winona

We are happy to be offering several exciting new classes.  Many classes require a sewing or embroidery machine; please let us know if you would like to use one of ours.  Class fee is due when you register.  You can sign up at the store, by phone or e-mail.  If registering over the phone or e-mail, you must have a valid credit card.  Receipts and class supply lists will be mailed to you.  Full refunds on class fee will be given if you cancel seven days in advance.  After that, a 50% refund will be given provided you give us 24 hours’ notice.  If you do not attend a class and we are not given 24 hours’ notice, there will be no refund or rescheduling of your class.   Classes may  be cancelled if Cabell County schools are closed for snow or ice (please call ahead and use your own judgment in inclement weather).  If we cancel classes, they will be rescheduled or class fee refunded.  Stop by the store to register for your class.  Please be considerate of your teacher and fellow classmates who may have allergies – refrain from wearing scented lotions and perfumes.

Please have your fabric and supplies purchased before the beginning time of your class.  This is very important because

if you wait until time of your class, you put the instructor and other students behind.
