 Dear Friends,

It is hard to believe spring is here already.  It is harder to believe that Sew Many Blessings will celebrate our tenth Anniversary in July.  Things have sure changed from our opening day in 2006.  We were excited to have 500 bolts to start with and now we have almost 2,000,  almost tripled our space and now carry Baby Lock Sewing Machines.  We have made a lot of new friends and hope to make even more.

We have a full schedule of classes and events in the next four months.  We are excited about our new classes.  Sandy will be teaching the new Fold-n-Stitch wreaths.  They are one of the best selling patterns in the US right now.  JoAnn will be teaching a Tuffet Class.  This is a great additional to any quilters home and would make a great gift.  We also have the Salem’s Witches Quilt Guild Class, and a beginning Bargello class,  just to mention a few of our new classes.

The West Virginia Mountain Quilt Quest Shop Hop is July 20th thru 23rd.  You will not want to miss this year’s special fabric.  The theme is WV Wildflowers and the fabric was designed by WV Artist Dorothy Post Swick.  It is beautiful.

And of Course the Row by Row starts June 20th.  The theme this year is Home Sweet Home.  We already have the official fabric in and it is adorable.

All you need to do is come.  We need people to sew, iron, trim, pin and turn.

We will provide some machines.  If you can bring your own that would be great.

The more people we have the more pillowcases we can get completed.

Ricky Timms

We have two tickets to the Ricky Timms/Alex Anderson event in Morgantown, WV July 17th and 18th.

We are going to give these tickets to one lucky person. (she can choose which friend she wants to go with her).  Just come in during our Open House on May 15th or 16th and talk to Heidi or Winona to get your name in the drawing.  We will draw the lucky winner on Saturday the 16th at 3:00 p.m.

Don’t forget the:

WV Quilters Show in Summersville June 18th thru 20th

Mystery Harvest Shop Hop  September 30th thru October 3rd

Row by Row Experience  June 21st thru September 8th

We are pleased to announce that we will be participating in the Row by Row Experience this year.  Quilt stores in all Fifty States are involved.  This years theme is H20.

Each store will have a row pattern and kit available for their row.  Rows are 9.5″ by 36.5″

You collect patterns or kits at different stores to make up your quilt.

Patterns are free.  Each store will have their price for the kit.

Many Stores have designed a license plate that you can purchase to add to your quilt or make other projects.

Many of the fabric companies have designed fabric just for the Row by Row.

You cannot purchase kits or fabric or receive a pattern until the official start date.

We are also not allowed to provide patterns or sell kits outside the store (vending events) or by mail.
