Dear Friends,

It is hard to believe that summer is over.  Now that cool weather is approaching it is time to think about quilting and making those special Christmas presents.  The Mystery Harvest Shop Hop is just around the corner October 2nd through the 5th.  We had such a great time at our Kids’ camp this summer that we are having a one day camp in November.

Baby Lock  introduced several new machines this month.  Their new serger, the Ovation, has variable speed, a 5″ sewing table and knee lift just to name a few things.  We have one on display, come and try it out.  They also introduced the new Journey, Aria and Rachel. We are now taking trade-ins on machines

Take time to quilt.

Winona and Heidi

EXCITING NEW CLASSES

We are happy to be offering several exciting new classes.  Many classes require a sewing or embroidery machine; please let us know if you would like to use one of ours.  Class fee is due when you register.  You can sign up at the store, by phone or e-mail.  If registering over the phone or e-mail, you must have a valid credit card.  Receipts and class supply lists will be mailed to you.  Full refunds on class fee will be given if you cancel seven days in advance.  After that, a 50% refund will be given provided you give us 24 hours’ notice.  If you do not attend a class and we are not given 24 hours notice, there will be no refund or rescheduling of your class.   Classes could be cancelled if Cabell County schools are closed for snow or ice (please call ahead and use your own judgment in inclement weather).  If we cancel classes, they will be rescheduled or class fee refunded.  Stop by the store to register for your class.  Please be considerate of your teacher and fellow classmates who may have allergies – refrain from wearing scented lotions and perfumes.
